Rae Dunn isn't just a popular brand she is a real person who grew up in California and currently lives in San Francisco. She has taken the playfulness and simplicity of her life and created unique clay pieces with large lettering highly popular and into a highly desired collection. When she decided to take an art class (just because she loved the building it was in) she just by chance chose ceramics. This was in the early to middle 1990's when her instructor was not happy with the oddness of the circular mugs she made but she disagreed and
this is when her signature artisan mugs began. She now makes many more home goods as well.
Most of our items are collectables, previously owned, vintage or antique. If it is new it will be stated as new. Most vintage glass, or pottery was not made as a cookie cutter piece. Those marks are marks of love and ageless charm. These could include light scratches, air bubbles, straw marks, stress lines, crazing from age, pottery dimples, or factory imperfections. There could also be a slight wobble to the piece which all are normal for vintage and antique pieces. We will do our darndest to share those marks of love even if it has a small chip, flaw or any type of issue. Being human I may miss a few (unintentionally of course) but we will always include numerous pictures to help you identify them, if any.
